Bear, the bear

Just like any other bear, he is protective of the ones he loves

He will defend if it means risking his life

He runs to get away

And he will go in search of his own food.

He can be mean and vicious if threatened

So don’t get in the way of him.

He shelters and protects the ones in need

And backs away from the ones who aren’t

He joins in the fun because he doesn’t want to be left out.

He goes on walks to help us relieve stress

He can be limited on his space

But he makes the best out of what he has

He sleeps on his stomach

With the innocent face,

Ready to attack if anything looks harmful.

He is the first to forgive

And the last the be angry

No matter what it is you have done.

If he hears a noise,

He immediately responds to whatever it may be

Wanting to be outside with all the other kids

Hoping that someone will come along to play with him.
